The making of....

After being here a month we started to brainstorm with our colleagues on how to make the project more visible, how to do more and bigger sensitization actions,… and finally we had the idea of making a real life mascot!

So three weeks ago we went to a couturier asking her to make something very strange…a real challenge…we wanted her to make us a mascot…a big drop of water. We had a clear view on what we wanted, but trying to explain this and making sure that she understood was a challenge for us. So we returned every day to see the progress…luckily we did…maybe they weren’t so happy to see us…because each time new adjustments had to be made…but we saw an evolution…a good one…and the mascot was ready just in time to use the 8th of March, international women’s day.

But anyway the making of this mascot has giving us some great pleasure these past to weeks…painful cheeks (because of all the laughing) was one of the results after paying a visit to the couturier….

Off course at the end almost everybody in the office had to try the mascot, you never know…maybe one day they will be the one animating the children…

















The making of our mascot was a very amusing challenge…and it is an ongoing challenge…because adjustments still have to be made…have to say the couturier thought that they finally got rid of this big bleu thing…but nothing is further from the truth.
