Badian Island

Mikay and Ernie had some work to do in Badian island…They had a meeting concerning the Akbayan Party (socialist party). Hadn’t been to Badian island…so why not join :). Katie (Canadian Girl) also joined. Badian Island is a very small island…you could walk around the island in just a few hours. It's wonderful!



We arrived and were warmly welcomed by some locals who knew Mikay and Ernie. After we took our lunch at the house of one of the locals (people are so hospitable here and their house had the most amazing view!), the meeting started. Katie and I listened for a while, but as we couldn’t understand anything we took the chance to explore a bit the island.



As we started our exploration kids were following us…they were our guides…escorting us trough the island. :) I loved it!





But we had to go…it was getting low tide…and we still needed to get back to Cebu Island. So no time to lose. Back to the boat…which they already had to push to get it back in the water. Just in time :)
